Really enjoyed this. Just the right amount of difficulty for a first project for a teen or adult. Helpful to read the comments and watch the instructional videos, don’t just watch the video for the wallet, what the more general ones as well.

Great Wallet Kit!
I enjoyed the build so much, and like the result enough, that I’ve already asked Santa to get another one just like it for Xmas!

Surprisingly simple but fun DIY!
I bought this kit in-store this summer. Mike was so kind and let me pick out a custom color combo. I was a bit intimidated to start this project, but once I began I finished it all in just a couple of hours. This was such a fun DIY and relatively simple once you learn the saddle stitch. The leather is beautiful and the finished product looks so polished. I am eager to order some more DIY kits soon!
One suggestion: While I did watch the thread measuring 'how to' video, providing thread measurements for each line of stitching would make this DIY even easier and could possibly prevent frustration of mismeasuring. That being said, there is plenty of thread for this project, so a little mistake won't become a big problem.

I did it!
We where on a visit to Orcas Island and greatly enjoyed meeting the owners and visiting the shop. They have done a awesome job. Professional and friendly. My wife bought me the kit and I enjoyed the videos and did it! Just like they said! Love the finished product!

Materials were spot-on.
Online instructions were great. Length to cut threads for each stitching would help a bunch. Did I miss them past the first one?
Great end-product. I like how it is all softening with use.
Great size and design.
