I have been eyeing this bag every time I’ve come into the shop. Finally I purchased it and I’m glad I did. It’s the perfect size for all of the large events (concerts, theatre, and games) that don’t let you bring in purses anymore. It’s beautifully made and and hold all the essentials!

I’m so glad on stumbled on to Orcas Island Leather Goods store on my trip on Orcas Island. The items are beautiful and well-made, but the bonus was the option to buy and kit and stitch it together at home. What a wonderful way to create your own take on the store’s style selection of bags, wallets, and other items by picking out your color swatches and thread. After buying my first kit, I was hooked, and have now made these wonderful convertible bags! Thank you for making these beautiful kits and easy-to-follow videos!

Orcas Island Leather Goods has perfectly found the balance among the aspects you look for when shopping for yourself or a loved one. The family (who work together as a unit) have created leather goods for anything you could need, satchels, wallets, wine carriers, AND kits that you can make or give as a gift for someone else to practice a fun hobby in learning how to sew leather (Plus- the options it comes to customizing the color of the leather + thread?! The tutorial videos they created online?!). As a newcomer to Orcas Island, I became so attached to this family owned business that while there I bought all that I needed to bring back to my friends, gifts encompassing the valued aspects a tourist seeks in the terms of quality, design, detail, and costumer service. Additionally, I have purchased product from this business all the way from Hawaii, and have been met with the same intentionality and quality of product and service that I received in-person. :) Highly highly recommend!

Love it! Perfect for cell, credit cards and a few necessary items. Strong leather with strong stitching keeping it all together. As an artist, the color options were a plus!
