Love!

I had so much fun stitching the Villager bag! I visited Orcas Island Leather in person and bought the cutest backpack, then kept thinking about the DIY bags and eventually caved 😂 Really glad I did - the teal leather is beautiful and the how-to videos are super clear and easy to follow. I’ll definitely be trying another DIY kit soon - thank you!

This is the bag in progress, in Onyx and Wine. I am partway through stitching it, and Mindy gave me grey thread, which I LOVE!!! (Contrasting thread is my jam.) It is soft and supple, and I can't wait to use it. I would say maybe to not make this your first project - try a couple of other ones first. But its beauty is unsurpassed.
